Among them stands out the Chabela cake, a GLAZED y peach It does not require much preparation or a large number of ingredients. It will remind you a little of the SACHER CAKE, although Chabela's does not have chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 150 gr. Of flour
  • 90 gr. white sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 300 gr. of quality peach jam,
  • grated zest of 1 lemon
  • glaze (recipe for 300 gr. of icing sugar)

Preparation

  1. We start by beating two of the eggs and two egg yolks with the sugar

  2. We will do it with the rods until the eggs are mounted well

  3. On the other hand we mix very well the rest of the eggs, flour and lemon zest

  4. When this mass is homogeneous, we mix it with the previous egg shake.

  5. We put this dough in a round mold and put it in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 40 minutes.

  6. Once ready, cool the cake out of the mold and on a rack

  7. Then we cut it into two plates in half and spread the jam on the surface of one of them.

  8. Finally we cover with the glaze.
