1 liter of whole milk
1 soft nougat tablet (from Jijona)
130 grams of sugar
130 g of refined corn flour
2 eggs
Flour (XNUMXg)
Vanilla powder or vanilla sugar
0.4º olive oil for frying

Preparation

Heat the milk with the diced nougat over moderate heat until it melts. In a bowl, mix the sugar with the cornmeal.
Stir well with a whisk to prevent lumps from forming during subsequent cooking.
Pour the milk with the melted nougat and stir until a uniform mixture is obtained.
We return to the saucepan and put over medium heat for about 10 minutes until it thickens, without stopping to move.
Pour the contents into a rectangular mold greased with butter and let it set (when it tempers, we can take it to the fridge); we can leave it made the day before.
Cut the dough into small square portions and pass them through flour and egg; fry them in plenty of hot oil.
Once cold, coat the fried milk with a mixture of sugar and vanilla powder (or vanilla sugar) and serve.
