We go there with some warm lentils, with vegetables and some delicious sausages. The good thing about this legume, the lentils, is that they do not need previous soaking. That is why they are a good option when in the morning we still do not know what to cook.
With a salad like the one you will find in the link the food is fixed. And it is a consistent dish thanks to the sausages. So that it is not a too fatty dish, we have cooked them before in a pan, but you can put them directly in the saucepan.

Lentils With Sausages
A traditional stew with an ingredient that children really like: sausages.

Ingredients
- 600 g of dried lentils
- A carrot
- 1 celery branch
- Depending on the size, 2 or 3 potatoes
- Water
- Two fat or four thin sausages
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Sal Island
- 1 teaspoon of flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika sweet
- 1 spoonful of fried tomato

We wash the lentils.
We prepare the vegetables, washing and peeling them.
We put water in the saucepan and put it on the fire until it is warm. We add the lentils.
Also carrots, celery and peeled potatoes.
We put it over medium heat and, during cooking, we add water as we deem necessary.
When they are practically cooked we make the sausages. We can put them directly in the saucepan, with the lentils. I have preferred to make them in a pan and add them later in order to avoid fat (much of it will remain in the pan).
Once done, we add them to the lentils and cook a few more minutes, always ensuring that they do not run out of water.
In a small saucepan we put the oil. Once hot we add the flour and the paprika.
After a minute we add the tomato, a little water (or the lentil broth) and salt.
Cook one more minute and add it to the stew.
Let everything cook together for another 10 minutes or so.
