This dish is exquisite and very easy to prepare. We are in the time of courgettes, they are healthy and rich in phosphate, magnesium and calcium, so they should not be missing from our weekly diet. The curiosity of this cake is that we have to mix it with ingredients such as cream and eggs, where we will bake everything together to form this special recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchini, about 1 kilo
- Half a large onion
- 1 medium potato
- 2 medium garlic cloves
- 500 ml of cream for cooking or whipping
- 3 eggs
- 2 slices of sliced ​​bread
- 100 g of pieces of ham or turkey
- 7-8 slices of cheese
- A handful of grated cheese
- Olive oil

- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of sweet paprika

We prepare a quadrangular source of approximately 27 × 17 cm by 9 cm high, and that can be removed from the mold. In my case I have placed at the base of the source a piece of greaseproof paper made to measure so that it can be removed much better when it is baked.
We cut the zucchini thinly sliced. We will cut the necessary amount that we will need to cover the cake at the end of the recipe. The slices will be aligned and lightly covering each other.
The rest of zucchini we are going to cut it into small cubes. Onion and potato We will also cut it into small pieces. We take the two cloves of garlic and we will crush them in a mortar.
We prepare a wide frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil and we put it to heat. We cast the crushed garlic and let it cool for a few seconds. Next we add the bits of vegetables and we will let it cook over medium high heat, stirring from time to time. Add the salt, half a teaspoon of paprika and a quarter teaspoon of oregano.
Meanwhile we can fry the zucchini slices with a thread of olive oil. We let brown on both sides and we set aside.
In a large bowl we add the 3 eggs and the 500 ml of cream. We add salt and pepper and mix it well.
We add the two slices of sliced ​​bread cut into small pieces and let it rest so that they soak up well. When we have it ready we will crush with a mixer by hand to get a smooth and fine sauce.
We take the source that we have prepared and we are assembling our cake. We heat the oven to 180 °.
We throw everything the zucchini stir-fry and we cover it with the mixture of cream and eggs.
We add the tacos or pieces of York ham and we cover the surface with slices of cheese.
We place the zucchini slices decorating its surface and we add the rest of the cream. We must emphasize filling in all the gaps and corners that have not been covered.
We can finally cast grated cheese without completely covering the zucchini slices. We'll stick it in the oven around 35 minutes.
Once baked we let it rest around 20 to 30 minutes before removing it from the mold. If you prefer, it can also be served from the source itself.
