We continue with our proposals for homemade sweets that drive children crazy. Today is this one's turn basic chocolate cake. There is nothing special about it because it is made with only six ingredients.
When you run out of yeast and feel like making a cake, think about this recipe. It does with bicarbonate, an ingredient that cannot be missing at home.
You can add nuts although this way, as we propose today, it is already delicious.
Basic chocolate cake, without yeast
A classic chocolate cake that you will make more than once.

Ingredients
- 180g chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 100 g butter
- 4 eggs
- 80 g of sugar
- 85 g flour
- A teaspoon of baking soda
- Icing sugar to decorate (optional)

We put the chocolate, in pieces, and the butter in a bowl. We put it in a bowl and melt it in the microwave. Here I recommend that you program short times, to avoid burning and to mix little by little. Everything has to be well integrated.
In another bowl we put the four eggs and the sugar.
We mix. We add the flour and baking soda and continue mixing.
We add the melted chocolate and butter that we had in the other bowl.
We integrate everything well.
We grease a 22 centimeter diameter mold. We put the dough in it.
We bake at 180º for 35-40 minutes.
Once out of the oven we let it cool. When it is cold we can decorate it by sprinkling a little icing sugar on the surface.
