Apple, walnut and spice cake: very autumnal

Get your measuring cups out because we're going to make a delicious American-style apple cake (the original recipe is called "glazed apple cinnamon bread," but it's not bread, it's a cake). It's exquisite, with a touch of spices that's perfect for this time of year. In fact, it's the spice blend used in many cookies and tarts, like sweet potato or pumpkin (sometimes with ginger and cloves).

Regarding the meters, remember that the equivalences in grams/milliliters depend on the product that we are measuring. With this Anglo-Saxon system, we measure volume, not weight.
