If you want to prepare a different and special cake, you have to try our summer fruit cake.
La It has very few ingredients and, although it may seem complicated, it is prepared in a moment. You will see it in the photos of the step by step.
The filling is made with seasonal fruit so it is your ideal dessert if you have a lot of fruit at home and you want to spend it.

Ingredients
For the dough
- 250 g of flour (and a little more if necessary)
- 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
- 160g cold butter
- 100 ml of ice water
For the filling:
- 1 kilo of summer fruit (strawberries, Paraguayan ...)
- Manzana 1
- 150 g of sugar
- 35 g of cornstarch
Plus:
- A little milk to paint the dough
- Brown or white sugar to sprinkle on top

Grease and flour a mold of about 26 centimeters in diameter (better if it is removable)
We put the flour and salt in a large bowl. We add the cold butter and in a block.
With your hands or with a wooden spoon, we crumble the butter quickly so that it does not heat up.
Add the ice water little by little and knead quickly with your hands until you get a compact block of dough.
We wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
After that time we take out the pasta and divide it into two parts.
We spread one of them on the countertop with the help of two sheets of greaseproof paper and a rolling pin.
We place the extended dough on our mold, greased and floured previously, about 26 centimeters in diameter.
We peel and remove the bones from the fruits. We cut the fruit into large pieces and put it in a bowl.
We also put the sugar and cornstarch in that bowl.
We mix everything and put it on the extended dough, in the mold.
We spread the rest of the dough, again on two sheets of greaseproof paper, and cut it into strips.
We place the strips on the fruit and brush the dough with the milk. We sprinkle sugar on the surface.
We bake at 220 (preheated oven) for 15 minutes. After that time, we lower the oven to 190 and leave the cake at that temperature for approximately 50 minutes.
