Today's recipe is for casserole. Will chicken in sauce. We will cook it over low heat and in its own juice because the only liquid that we will put in it will be a jet of olive oil. We will not need many more ingredients, only vegetables: onion, pepper…
As you will see in the photos of the step by step, once the chicken is cooked, we will grind the vegetables. This way the children will have no reason to complain.
To make it irresistible we will serve it with french fries.
Chicken in sauce with potatoes

Ingredients
- 2 chicken thighs
- 1 breast
- 2 thighs
- 1/2 large onion
- 3 Bay leaves
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1 Tomate
- 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil
- Sal Island
- 3 or 4 large potatoes
- Oil for frying potatoes
Music
We put the chicken in a saucepan.
On it we put the chopped onion, the bay leaves and the half pepper in pieces. Also the tomato peeled and in pieces. We add a splash of extra virgin olive oil and also a little salt.
We put it on the fire and let it cook over low heat for at least an hour and a half.
When the chicken is cooked, remove it from the saucepan and also remove the bay leaves.
Blend the vegetables with the blender.
We put the chicken back in the saucepan, adjust the salt and let it cook for a few more minutes.
Peel and chop the potatoes.
We fry them in abundant oil.
We serve the chicken with the fries.
