It is a good day to prepare a cake and, above all, to invite the children to help us in the kitchen. The cake that I propose is chocolate. On the surface it has some pieces of apple that, in addition to giving it flavor, will serve as decoration.
And this is where the kids can participate more. Tell them decorate the cake as they want. in my case some little flowers have come out but they can make geometric shapes, write a name ... whatever comes to mind.
We are going to need very few ingredients and surely you all have them at home. So, there are no excuses not to elaborate.
Chocolate apple sponge cake
A simple cake that children can decorate.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 120 g of sugar
- 150 g flour
- 10 g baking yeast
- 80 g of sunflower oil
- 70 g of chocolate fondant
- Manzana 1

We put the eggs in a bowl and also the sugar.
We mount it with the rods.
We add the oil.
Add the flour and also the yeast, sifting them with a strainer.
We melt the chocolate in the microwave on a low power. We incorporate it to all the previous ingredients.
We mix well with a tongue until everything is well integrated.
We put our mixture in a mold of about 22 centimeters in diameter that we will have greased beforehand.
We peel the apple, remove the inside and cut it into small pieces.
We decorate our cake with those apple pieces, forming flowers or making the decoration that we want.
Bake at 180º for approximately 40 minutes.
