And this is just an idea. Of course, you can substitute jam for pastry cream, chocolate for white chocolate ... the good thing about these desserts is that we can adapt them to our tastes or needs. Jam and puff pastry sweet
Kids love it and it's so easy to make and do it themselves. It has puff pastry, jam and chocolate so it is irresistible.

Ingredients
- 1 rectangular puff pastry sheet
- 150 or 200 g of strawberry jam
- Beaten egg to paint the surface
- A couple of tablespoons of sugar
- 100 g of fonding chocolate

If the puff pastry is purchased, we will remove it from the refrigerator a few minutes before preparing the dessert. We preheat the oven to 200º.
We unroll it and, with a knife, we make the cuts as seen in the photo.
With a spoon we put the jam in the center.
Now we are taking the strips to the center, first one on one side, then the one in front (on the other side) so that everything is interlaced.
Brush the surface with beaten egg.
We sprinkle sugar on the surface.
Bake at 200º for approximately 20 minutes or until we see that the puff pastry is golden.
We melt chocolate (we can do it in the microwave) and decorate our puff pastry with it.
We serve hot or cold, depending on the time of year and our preferences.
