In Italy it is a tradition to take them on the 31st. At home we are not going to serve them as a spoon dish but as appetizer, along with the rest of skewers What do we prepare for this day?

In our case, each volauvan is crowned by a piece of chorizo. This is our personal touch.

Ingredients

• 200 g of lentils (they can be canned or from a stew that we have left over)
• A few pieces of chorizo ​​(they can be from the stew, if you have it)

1. These are our lentils.

2. Crush the lentils either with a blender or with a potato mill.

3. We put a tablespoon of lentil puree in each volauvan.

4. On top of the lentils we place a piece of chorizo, fried or cooked.

5. We put it in the oven, at about 180º, for approximately 7 minutes (the time necessary to serve the hot volauvans).
