We are going to prepare a cake for breakfast. It's a very easy limoncello cake, which contains, in addition to this Italian liqueur, butter and chocolate chips.
In the photos you will see that, on the surface, we have put nuts. Thanks to a mixture of egg and milk with which we are going to paint the cake, these nuts are going to stick to the our sweet even after baking.
If you want to prepare it but you don't have LimoncelloDon't worry, nothing happens. Those thirty grams of liquor can be substituted for rum, for cognac or for lemon juice.

Ingredients
- 80 g of sugar
- The grated skin of a lemon
- 150 g of butter and a little more for the mold
- 3 eggs
- A pinch of salt
- 30g limoncello
- 150g milk
- 400 g flour
- An envelope of Royal type yeast (about 15 grams)
And for the surface:
- An egg yolk
- 20g milk
- Nuts

Put in a bowl the sugar, the butter, the grated lemon peel, the eggs, the pinch of salt and the limoncello.
We mix.
Add the milk and half the flour.
Mix and add the rest of the flour and yeast. We integrate everything well.
Add the chocolate chips and mix.
Grease our mold with butter (in my case a tray suitable for the oven).
Pour our mixture into it and level the dough.
Put the egg yolk and milk in a small bowl. We mix.
We paint the surface of our cake with this mixture.
We put the nuts on a cutting board.
Chop them lightly with a knife.
We sprinkle the surface of our cake with these nuts.
Bake at 190º (preheated oven) for approximately 40 minutes.
