This dish of pasta with zucchini and bacon it will be ready in a few minutes. The important thing here is to manage the times well: while we cook the pasta we will prepare the sauce.
The courgettes We will use them without peeling so it is preferable to choose them from organic farming. And don't be afraid to use wheat pasta… It takes longer to cook but is healthier and is as tasty as the traditional one.
Pasta with zucchini and bacon
We will cook a great plate of whole wheat pasta with zucchini and bacon. Great!

Ingredients
- 320 g pasta
- A dash of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 zucchini
- 100g diced bacon
- Pepper
- Sal Island
- Some fresh basil leaves

We wash the zucchini well and dice them.
We also chop the bacon.
We heat a saucepan with plenty of water. When the water begins to boil, add the pasta and let it cook for the minutes indicated by the manufacturer.
While the cooking water for the pasta is boiling, put a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil in a large frying pan. We put it on the fire. When the oil is hot, add the chopped zucchini. Sauté it for a few minutes.
Now add the bacon and cook for a few more minutes.
Add salt and pepper and stir.
When ready add the basil leaves.
By the time we cook our vegetables, the pasta will have been made. It will then be time to put the slightly drained pasta in the pan where we have the rest of the ingredients.
We mix everything and serve immediately, if we feel like it, with a little grated cheese.
