5 eggs
400 gr of peeled pumpkin
300 g sugar
100 grams of butter
400 gr de harina
1/2 envelope of chemical yeast

Peel the pumpkin and remove the seeds. Chop it up and cook it for 5-8 minutes in the microwave.
Once we have it soft, we spread it with a fork so that it is like a puree.
In a bowl we put the 5 eggs and half of the sugar. We beat everything with the help of the mixer until the eggs are almost stiff and almost double their volume. We are gradually adding the rest of the sugar, the pumpkin puree, the melted butter and the sifted flour so that in this way, it does not form any lumps.
We continue beating everything so that it is well incorporated and we add the yeast and cinnamon. Let the dough rest for a couple of minutes and add the chocolate chips.
We stir so that they are fully incorporated into the dough.
Prepare a mold and grease it with butter so that later it is easier for us to unmold it, and pour the content that we have prepared. With the oven preheated to 180 degrees, we put our cake in and bake it for about 50 minutes, until we check with a toothpick that it has been done correctly.
