When we think of spaghetti with cream we usually think of carbonara. And that, as the experts say, the authentic carbonara do not contain cream, they contain eggs. Well today we are going to prepare some spaghetti with mackerel, onion and cream which are also very good.
The sauce ready in a moment. In fact, we are going to do it in those minutes of cooking the spaghetti.
A quick recipe, perfect for when we return from the beach or for when we return late from work and we don't have much time or desire to cook something complicated.

Spaghetti with mackerel and onion

Ingredients
- Water for cooking pasta
- 320 g spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 medium onion cut into strips
- 1 can of mackerel in olive oil
- 200 ml of liquid cream for cooking
- Sal Island
- Pepper
- Dried aromatic herbs
Preparation
We put plenty of water in a saucepan. When it starts to boil, add the spaghetti and cook it for the time indicated on the package.
Meanwhile, we prepare the sauce. Put a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and brown the onion in it.
After a few minutes, we added the mackerel.
Then we add the liquid cream, salt (whatever we consider necessary), a little pepper and dried aromatic herbs.
Mix and cook everything together for 3 to 5 minutes.
Once the pasta is cooked, add it to the pan, without the cooking water.
We mix and we already have our pasta ready to serve.
Notes
The mackerel can be substituted for tuna.
