Besides lemon and cinnamon, the aroma of vanilla has always been present in many homemade custard recipes. These are made with natural ingredients, so using vanilla powder or drops won't do… We'll make it easy for you: we'll use the Thermomix.

If you have the Thermomix at home or any other robot, preparing vanilla custard is something really simple.

Ingredients

75 gr. sugar
Whole eggs 3
500 ml. whole milk
100 ml. condensed milk
1 vanilla bean

We pour all the ingredients in the glass of the Thermomix except the vanilla and we beat 30 seconds at speed 8.
Add the open vanilla pod to the glass and program at 90 degrees for 10 minutes and speed 3,5.
When the cooking time is over, carefully remove the vanilla pod and program another 2 minutes at the same speed but this time without temperature.
We distribute the custard in the individual molds, sprinkle with cinnamon, place the biscuit on top and let cool.
To make the custard in the traditional way, first we infuse the open vanilla in the milk and then we mix it with the rest of the beaten ingredients.
Cook the custard over very low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
